American Beauty Wishlist

Beautysets - American Beauty Wishlist

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well. I have used something a little different for todays post and that is Beauty Sets. I have never used it before but it is basically a place you can create sets of images and then share them with the rest of the world or on your blog, which is what I decided to do. There are hundreds of templates to choose from but I decided to go it alone and create my own. It might not be the best but it was the best way to layout the images I wanted to use. So todays post is about what I wish they sold over here in the UK. All of the these products are currently part of my wish list until I next visit the USA.

Nume 4 Play Curling Wand. I NEED this. It just looks amazing! The fact that it has four interchangeable  wands is brilliant and fantastic value for money. I have seen so many photos of girl's hair looking stunning after using this wand and I love the fact that depending on the curl you want, you will always have something to suit your mood whether it be a big loose curl or something a little tighter. To be honest, I would be pretty happy with any Nume wand but this would be top of my list. I really hope they bring this out in the UK at some point.

Maybelline Products. Okay, so I know we stock Maybelline products in England but there is not nearly as much choice. There are so many times I have read beauty blogs or watched YouTube videos and seen new maybelline products that I really want to try and have not been able to get hold of. The ones in the picture are just a example but I really wish they would make the products available everywhere. Next time I'm in the US, I'll be checking out all the latest products and stocking up on a few firm favourites such as Babylips. I love them!

Sephora Products. So yeah.. we need a Sephora here in the UK! Like seriously.. I still cant understand why we don't. When I was in New York last year, I was in beauty heaven and just didn't want to leave and I have looked many a time on the website and wished I could purchase the gorgeous brush sets or the stunning palettes. So everything in that store is on my wish list. :)

Physicians Formula Products. I never knew this brand exsisted until I saw a couple of people posting photos of the products on their Instagram. These products look amazing and the packaging is too cute! I really want to give them a try. Unfortunately they seem to be only available in the US too.

L'oreal Haircare. To be honest, this will probably be available in the UK soon but I thought I would include it in the wish list all the same. All of these new ranges by L'oreal look amazing but the Total Repair 5 in particular gets me really excited. This balm in the picture claims to restore a years worth of damage in one use. That has got to be worth a try! The whole range is meant to repair your hair to its former glory but I would be pretty happy to own just that one product if it really works.

So there is my mini wish list of beauty products I really want to get my hands on. Have any of you tried any of the products I mentioned? Are there any products you wish you could get hold of?

Small Topshop Haul

Hey ladies, hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekend. I have been working which does kind of suck but it has flown past so its not all bad. Today, I wanted to show a few things I purchased from the Topshop website the other day. I have wanted some new clothes for ages but I have been struggling to find things that I can actually wear right now. Our weather is so un-spring like, that its impossible for me to wear all the cute shorts and summery tops that are filling the stores currently. So this is what I managed to find.

Leigh Red Jeans £38. I have been searching for a new pair of coloured jeans for a while. I love jean in a different colour other than blue, it just makes such a change and can really transform an outfit. I was thrilled when I saw these gorgeous red pair of skinny jeans. I always buy Topshop's Leigh jeans as I find the style super flattering and very comfortable. When these arrived, they weren't as 'red' as I thought they would be but I actually preferred them that way. They are more of a dusky red which makes them more of a summery colour. I really love them and can't wait to wear them out.

Sonnet T-shirt £15. I wanted to get a few more t-shirts this year as they are always super practical and are perfect for hot summer days or slightly cooler ones in my case. I love this one! Its very simple but will look great paired with shorts or a pair of jeans, even my new red ones.

Patterned T-shirt £18. Another t-shirt but this one is made of a much softer and floaty material. It just hangs beautifully and I just love the colours and the pattern. Again, it will go with pretty much anything and its light enough to be worn in the summer months without getting too hot. I just love it.

So thats what I bought the other day, I could have bought so much more but I plan on having another shopping trip to London in the next couple of weeks so I wanted to be sure I had some money to spend when I was there. Have you bought anything from Topshop lately? Are you getting a bit fed up of not being able to wear whats currently in the stores?

May Glossybox

Hey ladies! Todays post is on May's Glossybox and the products I received. This month is Glossybox 2nd birthday, so happy birthday Glossybox! The products in this months box are from their most trusted and beloved brands and the packaging inside the box is to die for! Its so cute with a neon pink ribbon and tissue paper decorated with pictures of presents, make up and cupcakes. Adorable! Now for the goodies I got.

Awapuhi Wild Ginger Shine Spray. So first up, I have never heard of this brand before so I am pretty excited to see what this product is like. It says it leaves all hair types super soft, silky and hydrated and will help restore damaged hair. This already sounds brilliant to me and whats more, it also protects your hair from daily wear and tear throughout the entire day. Im always up for trying products that make my hair healthier and that promise to protect it too. Very interested to see whether this works or not.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara. Now this I was very excited to see when I opened my box! I have tried a few Jelly Pong Pong products before and I never disliked them, I just never repurchased them either. They always seem pretty hard to come by. This mascara is waterproof which is ideal for the summer months and is meant to add length and volume to your lashes. The fact that it is £15 normally is even better. There is a big enough tube for me to really decide if I love it. Cant wait to try this out!

Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner. Okay, so I am the worlds worst at applying liquid eyeliner, it takes me forever before I can achieve a relatively straight line so when I received this, I wouldn't say I was ecstatic. However it does give me a chance to practice without me having to splash out on yet another product.

Headline Colors Poolside Party Nail Polish. Well, its a nail polish so I was very happy! Its a gorgeous blue colour which is perfect for summer and I haven't ever tried this brand so it will be interesting to see what the formula is like. I get the impression it has a top coat within the polish so it should save me a bit of time when applying too. They cost £9 each so the quality should be really good. This is the next colour I'll be painting my nails thats for sure.

BM Beauty Prime and Creating Mixing Medium. When I first saw this I was a little confused as to what it actually was, to me it was just a clear gel in a tiny sample pot. However when I looked it up in the booklet I was pleasantly surprised and very excited to give it a go. Its basically a clear aloe vera based gel which can be mixed with your normal make up products to turn them into cream foundation, cream blush or eyeshadow. So this like having lots of products in one! If this works then Ill be super impressed. It is £20 for a full size so I hope it does.

Glossybox Mini Nail Files. Lastly is just an extra little gift from Glossybox as its their birthday. These super cute nail files are perfect for your handbag and when you need a file on the go. Nice little extra if you ask me. :)

What did you think of May's box? What products did you get?

lots of love

Would You Rather? | Beauty Edition

Photo from Tumblr
Hey Everyone, I hope you are well and enjoying your week so far. Todays post is something a little different and something I am really excited to do. I actually discovered this tag on Couture Girl's blog and loved reading it so much I thought I would join in and do it myself. Its basically a tag in which you get offered two options, neither of which are particularly great and you have to choose the one you would rather do. These questions are not going to be easy but here we go...

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

Okay, so losing either would be pretty damn awful but I would have to say I would rather lose all my palettes and eyeshadows. This is only because when I go to work I never really tend to wear eyeshadow, its more of a weekend/special occasion thing for me, so I think I could survive without them until I could re-purchase them all. The idea of losing all my lipsticks and mascara is just terrible!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

This is so difficult.. I don't really want to do either! I think I would have to say never cut it again. I think I would look so so bad with no hair. I know by me not having it cut ever again would mean I would get some serious split ends but you could always tie it up or do something different with it. My hair takes forever to grow as it is, I don't think I could bring myself to get it all chopped off at all.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Ooooo as much as I love them both, I think I would have to go with a pink cheek. Its what I wear most days and it just really suits my skin tone and hair colour. I think I could be quite happy just wearing a pink cheek forever actually.

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

I am obsessed with makeup and spend so much money on it and because of that I would say spend it on clothes. Imagine how many cute pieces you could get with £1000, would be a dream come true! So yeah, definitely clothes. I have so much makeup I wouldn't really need to spend £1000 on more of it if I was going to be completely honest.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

None of them sound like a great idea to me but if I had to choose one I would have to go with eyeliner as a lipstick. i guess you could find a really nice nude eyeliner or a dark pinkish colour and make some sort of lipstick out of it. The idea of smearing lipstick around my eye area is just horrible... and the colours wouldn't look that great either, sore eye look anyone? Yuck!

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

We don't have a Sephora here in the UK.. which makes me so sad but if we did I would definitely choose to shop there. When I went to the one at Times Square in New York I was in total heaven! If I had to shop there for all my make up I certainly would not be complaining. Plus they have so many brands there, you would always have different options and something new to try. So I am really sorry MAC, I still love you!

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

I adore lip products, I really do but I would have to say one lip colour for the rest of my life. Purely because how would you create a lovely smokey eye or a gorgeous neutral eye look with just one colour? You couldn't, so you would end up with just one colour on your eyelid which would look so odd and one dimensional. I don't think I could cope with that, whereas you could easily survive with one lip colour. You would just have to stick with your all time favourite natural colour so it would go with everything.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

Well seeing as here in little ol' England we rarely have an actual summer I would say i would rather wear winter clothes in summer as thats pretty much what we end up doing 10 months of the year anyway. The thought of wearing summer clothes in our winter would be horrific. I feel the cold anyway so for me personally it would be awful. Its time like that, I wished I lived somewhere like LA.

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?

This is so difficult! I love all my nail polishes and enjoying wearing both but if I had to choose one I would say bright nails all year round. I need cheering up in the winter months and if I am still having to wear my winter clothes in the summer then bright nails could make all the difference!

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?

Argh... I dont like this question at all. I guess if I had to choose one I would say I would give up my favourite lip product.. I wouldn't want to by any means but I don't think I would like having to give up my favourite mascara or anything. I think I could maybe grow to love another lip product as they bring them out so often? Ah that was so difficult to even think about!

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?

I tend to wear my hair in a pony tail for work a lot but the idea of only being able to wear it like that is a little depressing so I would have to say a messy bun. It looks good with pretty much anything.

Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

This is a easy one for me. I love painting my nails so much and I always have them painted, every single day. The thought of not being able to do that again is awful so I would say bye bye to lipgloss. I like wearing it but it isn't a necessity for me.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?

God that is tough! They both sound terrible but I think I would have to sharpie them in every day and try to make it work. It would be hard work but it has to look slightly better then having no eyebrows at all. You would just look plain weird without any, they frame your face and everything. Can you actually imagine that? Sharpie all the way.

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

This is one of the worst questions by far, I love them both! Though despite me loving my nail polishes so much I couldn't live without makeup. The thought of never wearing it again is horrible and I wouldn't want that at all. So goodbye nail polish. :(

So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed reading it! I loved doing it, I really like doing these tag posts so if any of you have any other good tags I could do then let me know. Would your answers have been the same as mine?

Mini Honey Themed Haul

Hey everyone! Okay, so I didn't intentionally go out and purchase lots of honey themed products for the sake of a blog post. I have named it a 'honey themed' haul because when I actually got home and had a good look at what I purchased it all seemed to be related to honey which I thought was very strange! I mean, I know I love the smell of honey but what are the chances of me purchasing all honey related things on the same day? Freaky! Anyway... moving on, it is only a little haul as I only popped out for a few essentials and saw so many great deals I just had to allow myself a couple of sneaky purchases. So this is what I bought.

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Strengthening Intensive Hair Mask. So 'Bee Strong' is a new herbal essences line and because of this, it was on offer. I didn't need a new shampoo or conditioner but this I had to have. It is a rinse out mask for hair that needs a little repair. Now my hair isn't in terrible condition at all but sometimes my ends can look a little dry, so I thought this would be perfect to use maybe once a week. It also smells amazing! It has honey and apricot extracts and you can imagine how good that smells. I cant wait to give this a go!

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Strengthening Cream. Also from the 'Bee Strong' line, this is a leave in treatment to protect your hair from combing damage. I love leave in treatments, I like the way they are working the entire time and they always leave my hair really soft and silky. This one claims to leave you with super strong hair so it will be interesting to see how that works. Again the smell is so good, I'll probably end up smelling my hair all day. Very excited to try.

Twinings Soothing Camomile and Honey Tea. This is pretty random but I thought I would include it anyway, just incase you guys were curious as to what else I buy other than beauty or fashion related products. I love tea and thought I would give herbal tea a try. I wanted to try something soothing and calming to relax me when I am feeling all wound up and this sounds perfect.

Garnier Soothing Hand Cream. Yet another honey related product. (What is wrong with me?) I bought this because I really needed a new hand cream and I have heard really good things about Garnier hand products. I have used this a few times already and I am really happy with it.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Mousse. Lastly is the only product in the haul that hasn't got honey in it. Since I have been curling my hair I have discovered that I needed a mousse to help give my hair added volume and hold the curls for the whole day. After spending ages looking at all the different types, I decided to go with the one that matches my current shampoo and conditioner. I always want that extra boost in my hair and hopefully this can do the job. Im looking forward to giving this a go.

So thats what I picked up on my mini shopping trip. I am so sorry about all the honey related products, I still have no idea how I didn't notice at the time. Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

My Favourite Body Lotions

Hey Guys! Ready for the weekend? I certainly am and I am even more excited because I have 5 whole days off work, pure bliss! I haven't actually got a tonne of things planned but I think I could do with a bit more time to recover from last week and its still nice to know I can have a few extra lie ins. :) Anyway todays post is about my current favourite body lotions and why I like them so much. I am a huge fan of body lotions and I like trying them all out however I do tend to revert back to these time and time again.

Dove Summer Glow. I love this so much and it is my all time favourite gradual tanner. I have tried a few different brands but they never measure up this one. First up, I love the smell its lovely and really reminds me of the summer. Secondly, the colour is amazing! I always get this in the shade medium to dark as when I naturally tan I tend to go quite dark. It is such a gorgeous colour and looks amazing. It also works after only a couple of applications so you don't need to use this weeks in advance. Lastly, it is very moisturising so your skin doesn't feel dry and horrible. I just love this product and buy it every single year.

Victoria's Secret Pink Warm and Cosy Body Lotion. I love Victoria's Secret in general but their lotions and scents are amazing. I picked this up from the London store and fell in love. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, its kind of like vanilla but sweeter and is just a very comforting smell to me. As for the lotion itself, its lovely to apply and isn't greasy like some lotions can be. I also really like the fact its a pump dispenser, much easier to use!

Jergens Ultra Healing. This is my everyday body lotion. I use this all the time without fail and I love how it has completely transformed my skin. Seeing as I am someone who suffers with dry skin in the winter, this is a life saver. Its super hydrating and almost immediately soothes my skin and clears up any dry patches within days. My skin has definitely been healthier since I've used this. Love it! Oh and once again, it has a pump which makes life so much easier.

E45 Intense Recovery. Lastly is this super strong moisturiser. Sometimes in the colder months, my skin can need extra TLC and this is what I will use. I use this only when I get very dry patches and need a little bit more hydration. This is also ideal for sensitive skin so when your skin is feeling a little bit delicate, this is perfect. It doesn't get much use the rest of year but its definitely something I wouldn't want to be without - just incase.

So those are my favourite body lotions. What are your favourites? Have you tried any of these products?

Pretty Little Liars Style | Spencer

Pretty Little Liars Style | Spencer

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all looking forward to the end of the week, Im still feeling pretty rubbish and am hoping Im going to start feeling a lot better by the weekend. Being ill really sucks don't you think? Anyway, I have dragged myself up to write a post for you guys today and it is the last in my Pretty Little Liars Style series.

Spencer is the last one on the list and she is probably my second favourite character after Hanna. Spencer is the crazily clever one who excels at school and at pretty much everything else she does in her life, so her style is very classic, preppy and very all- American. Spencer loves her skinny jeans and pretty much wears them every day but not just in your classic blue denim shades. She is often rocking a pale pink pair or a gorgeous deep burgandy shade which makes them look a lot less average. Pair these skinnies with either this classic blue plaid shirt or this super cute swallow sweater. Don't forget that Spencer also likes to layer up so this preppy style blazer would look perfect over the top. She doesn't just live in casual jeans though, Spencer often wears feminine summer dresses like this cute denim number. Paired with a simple mustard colour cardigan and chunky knit knee high socks or patterned, lace tights and you're good to go. Just because Spencer likes the muted colours, doesn't mean you cant add that little splash of colour to your look.

Onto to accessories, Spencer is very classic with her footwear and nearly always wears a simple pair of brown loafers. These lovely suede ones are super cute and still girly and will look fantastic paired with either the jeans or the dress. If the weather is against you then why not try a pair of brown leather boots layered over tights or chunky socks. It still channels Spencer's look but with the extra warmth. As for bags, stick with the preppy style and go for a classic satchel style bag. This brown leather one can also be worn across the body for a different look. Lastly is jewellery. Spencer isn't one for wearing tonnes of it but she will wear classic gold studs or a simple chain necklace.

What do you think of Spencer's style? Is she your favourite?

MAC Ri Ri Woo Lipstick

Hey everyone! Hope your weekend was lovely and relaxing, I'm kind of glad its over as working the weekend tends to drag. Two days off for me now and I intend to make the most of it with blogging and of course a little shopping. The most exciting purchase I made last week though was MAC's Ri Ri Woo lipstick which is what todays post is about.

Incase you guys didn't know, MAC released only a few of these gorgeous Rihanna edition lipsticks and they all sold out within 3 hours (1 hour in the US I believe) and I was lucky enough to get my mitts on one. The whole ordering system was very tense and extremely exciting and when you realised you'd actually nabbed one you wanted to jump up and down with joy.

The lipstick itself is pretty much like MAC Ruby Woo but very slightly darker, so if you already had Ruby Woo you might not have been as excited. However when mine arrived in the post a couple of days ago I couldn't believe how pretty it was! It has 'Ri Ri' engraved into the lipstick which is gorgeous and the red is really bright with a blue undertone so it makes your teeth look whiter and makes the colour stand out. It truly is a stunning colour, however it is a retro matte lipstick which means it could be a little drying. That shouldn't be too much of a problem though providing you apply a nice hydrating lip balm underneath.

The rest of the Ri Ri Hearts MAC will be released in four seasonal collections throughout the year which makes me super excited. They are meant to include eyeshadow palettes and brushes. Did any of you get hold of a Ri Ri Woo lipstick? What did you think?

lots of love

OPI Liquid Sand and Matte Topcoat

Hey Everyone! Hope your week went quick and you are ready for the weekend. I have finally been paid so I am super excited to spend some of my hard earned pennies. Don't you just think getting paid is the best feeling in the world? I love it! So todays post is on two new nail polishes I bought the other day. They are both by OPI, one is a matte topcoat and the other is one of their liquid sand polishes.

As you all know by now, I adore nail polish and OPI has to be my all time favourite brand so when I got an email about their new products I was super excited. I only bought one liquid sand polish because it was near the end of the month and I was trying to be careful. I couldn't not get the matte topcoat though, I have wanted one for a while and after reading a lot of reviews, OPI seemed to be the best one available. So here are my thoughts on them.

OPI Liquid Sand Polish in 'Pussy Galore'. So this is the second liquid sand collection OPI have released and it is based on bond girls old and new. I chose the shade 'Pussy Galore' which is a gorgeous pale pink. The photos don't really do it justice to be honest. When it dries, it dries to a lovely pale pearly pink with pink shimmer. It is stunning and I can't wait to wear it. I actually really love the liquid sand polishes, the effect is so cool, it lasts for days without chipping and you save yourself time by not having to apply a topcoat. Only downside is taking it off, that takes ages!

OPI Matte Topcoat. Just wow! I have wanted a matte topcoat for a while and like I said earlier, after reading reviews, OPI seemed the best way to go. But even I wasn't prepared for how amazing this really is. It literally transform your nail polish into something completely different. I love the effect and how smooth it leaves your nails. The finish is fantastic and hopefully you can see from my photo how different it looks from a normal topcoat. I have fallen in love with this product and it was worth every single penny. Eeep, I just love it!

Have you tried liquid sand polishes? What about the matte topcoat? What did you think?

Pretty Little Liars Style | Hanna

Pretty Little Liars Style | Hanna

Polyvore

Hey! Hope you are all well and having a great week so far. Todays post is another one in my Pretty Little Liars Style series and this is Hanna's style and how you too can achieve her look.

Hanna is my favourite liar out of the four. She gets all the best lines, has a heart of gold and her wardrobe is to die for so I was really looking forward to doing a post on her style. Hanna used to be the chubby, dorky girl and has now transformed herself into the popular girl so her style reflects her status completely. She doesn't fit into a certain 'style' as she pretty much uses a bit of everything. Her look is very hollywood and flirty and she goes all out everyday, so even if she is just at school, you'd think she was attending a party.

Hanna loves a floaty top or chiffon shirt in a variety of colours. This bright yellow shirt or cute teal ruffle front vest are very 'dressy' and would look perfect with black skinny jeans. If Hanna isn't wearing those black jeans she will be rocking a cute black skirt or something a little brighter like this gorgeous red pleated number. She often accentuates her waist so the fact this skirt has a coloured waistband fits perfectly with her style. For something to pair with a simple black skirt, why not try a girly, floaty vest with a embellished neckline. Again it nips in at the waist to enhance your figure and is very 'Hanna'. Hanna also wears a lot of gorgeous dresses in lots of different fabrics and colours. This coral one is perfect. Its very sophisticated and a perfect hollywood style dress. Pair it with a cute, black boyfriend style blazer. Hanna has a lot of blazers to toughen up her girly dresses.

Onto shoes, Hanna doesn't shy away from sky high heels and would think nothing of wearing them to school or out shopping. This stunning peachy pink pair is ideal and the flowers add a girly touch. If the idea of heels terrify you, then try a simple pair of black flats. When she is out in the woods or on a mission Hanna tends to stick with them. You can't go running around in heels when you are trying to catch A after all! Moving onto accessories, Hanna is never without a large handbag. She always looks perfectly polished and a large, chic handbag helps to complete the look. As for jewellery, be sure to stick with pretty eye-catching necklaces or pendants, chunky cocktail rings and gold studs or hoops.

So thats Hanna's style. What do you think? Who's style is more like yours?

New MAC Goodies

Hey ladies, hope you are well and enjoyed your three day weekend in the sunshine. Seeing as I had to work bank holiday Monday, which was a little depressing I had today off instead. So I have been enjoying the weather and went for a nice long country walk with the dog. Perfect! I just hope this sunny weather lasts for a bit longer then a few days. So today I am going to be sharing my new MAC purchases with you guys from their new collections.

I have been waiting for their new collections to launch for ages and ages so when they popped online the other week I couldn't wait to order some. So as soon as I got in from work I logged onto the website and set to work choosing the pieces I really wanted. This was pretty easy seeing as I had already decided ages ago what I'd purchase when it was launched in the US. I ended up with two paint pots, a tinted lip balm and a power chrome eye pencil. These are my thoughts on the products to far.

Paint pot in 'Mooncake' and 'Eclair'. £14.50 each. These lovely little pots of colour are from the Baking Beauties collection. I had my heart set on 'Mooncake' as soon as I had seen the promo photos. Its a gorgeous champagne colour and very natural. Its also a very subtle colour so its perfect for when you just want a little colour on your eyelids but nothing to dramatic. I also bought 'Eclair' which is a lovely chocolate brown with a slight shimmer to it. The reason I bought this is because I had seen a look created by Temptalia using these two shades and fell in love. I really like the formula of MAC paint pots too. They are really creamy and easy to apply and with a good primer, creasing is not a problem at all.

Powerchrome eye pencil in 'Copper Strip'. £16. This is from the Temperature Rising collection. I am a total sucker for brown eye liners on my lower lash line. I just love them, so I was instantly drawn to this gorgeous colour. In fact I loved every single one from the collection but I am unfortunately not made of money so I had to settle with just the one. This was my favourite one of the bunch. Its a lovely rich brown with a hint of sparkle to it. It is a super chunky pencil which I really like and it glides on like a dream. The staying power is amazing too. I can wear this all day long and it doesn't budge. I totally love this product!

Mineralize Tinted Lipbalm in 'Cheery Cheery'. £17. Lastly is the tinted lip balm. This is so cute! Its a lot smaller then I thought it would be but I can see it lasting for a while. I chose this colour because I am always drawn to pink shades however it doesn't really make much difference which one you pick as there isn't much colour to it anyway. It comes out of the tube pink but turns clear once you apply to your lips. This suits me fine as sometimes I don't want a heavily pigmented lip product but if its colour you're after then this might not be for you. It is very hydrating though and feels amazing on my lips.

Overall I am really impressed with what I purchased and the new MAC collections in general. All the new colours are perfect for spring/summer and something different to the usual. If I could have bought more, I definitely would have! Be sure to check them out yourself and if you have already got some then what did you think? Any new favourite products?

Lots of love

Essie Polishes

Hey Everyone. I am so happy its finally the weekend! The sun is shining and I've just been kicking it back, relaxing and enjoying the weather. Perfect! I love it when the evenings are lighter and warmer and you just get that summery feeling, which leads me into todays post, summery nail polishes. The other day I purchased four Essie polishes. They always do the perfect shades for spring/summer and what with the weather finally getting a bit better I decided to stock up a little.

It took me a while to actually choose which ones I wanted but after looking at lots of swatches I finally settled on these lovely four! As you can see, I did lean towards the pinks but they are my favourite kind of shades so what can I say? :) These are the shades I picked up.

Tart Deco. A gorgeous peach colour, this just looks amazing on my nails and just makes me think of summer, I can imagine this also looking fantastic with a tan in a couple of months. I just love it and have already worn this a few times.

Cute as a Button. I am currently wearing this at the moment and its really pretty! Its a nice pinkish coral and is the perfect springtime shade. I think this is going to be one of my favourites for a while.

Lovey Dovey. I love this! Its a really sweet pale yet bright pink. Again, I think this will look amazing with a tan and I am a huge sucker for these kind of pinks. Love love love!

Madison Ave-Hue. This is actually a new shade from their Spring 2013 collection. I don't actually have a colour like this at all in my collection (believe it or not!). Its a lovely purplish pink and its super pretty. Very excited to try this one out. :)

I really like Essie polishes, the formula is always really great and the colour selection is huge! There is a shade for everyone, so whether you want the summer brights or classic shades like red or black, you'll find what you're after. Do you have any of these Essie polishes? Which ones are your favourites?

My Haircare Routine Products

Hi, hope you are all well and are having a great week. I can't believe its Friday tomorrow, this week has flown by! The weekend can't come soon enough to be honest. Todays post is about the products I use in my everyday haircare routine. I tend to change products all the time so this is only what I am currently using. I'll be sure to do another post when it all changes again! So lets get started!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. So I actually purchased these near the beginning of the month which I mentioned in my haul here and they have become a firm favourite of mine. The shampoo really gives my hair a boost which I love and smells lovely, it has a nice clean smell to it which I can't explain. It claims to make your hair touchably soft which I can totally agree with. My hair feels great and once I use the conditioner afterwards it's completely tangle free too.

L'Oreal Hair Expertise Nourishing Intense Mask. Once a week I try to deep condition my hair with a mask which I leave on for about 10 minutes. I feel that my hair can feel a little dry and because I straighten or curl my hair and then constantly putting it up for work, it can need a little bit of TLC. This hair mask is brilliant. The smell is a-maz-ing, I cant put my finger on what it actually is but its so good! I could literally just sit there smelling it for hours, (strange I know). I really do feel as if my hair has had a good treatment once I wash this out and I always think it's a good idea to take that extra 10 minutes once a week for that little bit of pampering.

Mark Hill Big Blow! Volume Spray. This is like my third bottle of this. I just love it and use this before I blow dry my hair. Once I have towel dried my hair and combed it through, I spray this onto my roots to give it that little extra 'oomph'. It really works and if I ever forget to use it, my hair just looks and feels limp. I haven't found anything that works better yet so this is probably the thing I have been using the longest in my haircare routine.

Phil Smith Argan Oil Hair Transforming Cream. This little tube of goodness was actually a free gift with a magazine can you believe it? Normally I tend to never use the free gifts but I was really intrigued by this and thought I'd give it a go. Now I can't imagine not having it. Again this product smells amazing but it really makes the ends of hair feel soft and look less damaged. I use this just on the ends of my hair, after the volume spray and before I blow dry. Once this little tube is finished I'll definitely be purchasing a full sized one.

Charles Worthington Front-Row Heat Defence Spray. Lastly is my heat defence spray. Before I do any sort of straightening or curling I always spritz my hair with this spray. I hate sprays that come out in short bursts and don't cover a large area so you end up with wet hair that turns crispy. This spray is very fine but covers the hair evenly. I also spray this onto my comb or brush that I am using too as a little extra protection. Another product that I currently couldn't live without.

So there you have it, the products I use as part of my haircare routine. I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to let me know if there are any volumising products you think I should try. What couldn't you currently live without in your haircare routine?
